At The Teaching Sanctuary, we offer a calm, supportive environment where your child can feel confident to ask questions, explore ideas, and develop a stronger grasp of English/Maths. Whether they need to strengthen the basics or stretch themselves further, we tailor each session to suit their pace, personality, and goals — ensuring that learning never feels rushed or overwhelming. We offer classes with a small number of students or individuals classes.
From boosting mathematics skills to reading comprehension and refining writing skills to preparing for key assessments like SATs or 11+, we equip your child with the tools they need to succeed. More than just improving results, our aim is to build confidence, nurture curiosity, and make learning feel purposeful and positive — every single step of the way.

Most sessions are 60 minutes up to 2 hours long. An hour for English and an hour for Maths, or just an individual session of 60 minutes. – I will work with you to find the right rhythm for your child’s needs.
Progress updated step by step and shared with both the pupil and parents. Regular and clear reports that highlight the strengths, weaknesses, targets and next steps in learning
Usually we prefer to teach our students in person at the Church of The Ascension in Hall Green but in certain circumstances we could accommodate Zoom attendance for our lessons.
I offer English/Maths tuition for learners from Key Stage 1 and 2 (Year 1–6) with sessions tailored to each student’s age, ability, and goals.
The cost of each lesson £15-£20 for a 60 minute session.
